Station West is a thriving studio complex nestled in the ecletic Berry Hill community of Nashville. Established in 1998 by Grammy award winning engineer and producer, Luke Wooten, Station West has enjoyed over a decade of serving Nashville’s finest artists, songwriters and producers. Our facility is comprised of three studios, including Studio A, the West Wing and Edit Suite.
Recording Studios
Studio A
Station West’s A room houses our beautiful Trident 80b console, which is equipped with Uptown automation and 30 channels of classic Trident equalizers. The tracking room features a Yamaha C7 grand piano, and the two adjacent isolation booths provide plenty of flexibility for various recording situations. This, combined with our extensive collection of outboard gear makes Studio A the perfect place to record, mix, or master your next project.
West Wing
Since 2004, the West Wing has served as a home base for studio owner and Grammy award winning producer, Luke Wooten. The spacious mix room is centered around Harrison’s digitally controlled Series 12 analog console, which features full dynamic automation of every fader and parameter. The overdub booth provides a comfortable recording space, with 24 reversible diffusion/ absorption panels, allowing for full control of the room’s ambience. Equipped with world-class outboard gear and 5.1 surround mixing capabilities, the West Wing has everything you need to bring your mixes to life.
Edit Suite
The edit suite at Station West provides a comfortable environment for digital editing and mixing. The room features a UAD Apollo rig, Yamaha MSP-5 monitors, and plenty of studio-standard plugins (UAD, Waves, SoundToys, etc.). With four Unison preamps and access to the Station West mic locker, our edit suite also serves as the perfect place for songwriters and artists to build tracks.
